Privacy

When you send a hire request I collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), event or project name, your description of the work, the budget, and the dates and hours you selected. Your IP address is stored with the request to limit spam.

This data is used to answer you and to discuss the booking. It is stored in the database of this website and sent to my own mailbox at mix@burbela.com. You also receive a confirmation email containing a private link that lets you edit your own request.

The support form collects your name, email address, and message. It is used only to reply to your question.

Only me. The data sits on the server that hosts this website, so my hosting provider technically processes it on my behalf. It is never sold, published, or passed on for advertising.

Requests and messages are kept while the enquiry or project is still relevant, and are deleted once they are no longer needed. Anti-spam records are short-lived and removed automatically.

This site uses a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool that counts page views without identifying visitors. It sets no tracking cookies, builds no profiles, and is not shared with advertising networks. There is no Google Analytics on this site.

A cookie is set only when I sign in to my own admin area.

You can ask me what data I hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to mix@burbela.com and I will handle it. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
